Molten Chocolate Cakes

I am neither a good cook nor calm and collected in the kitchen despite my continued attempts to be otherwise. But I am still thoroughly convinced that the more time I spend in there, the better and more confident I will become. And so... I give you Molten Chocolate Cake that I made for my Dad's birthday this past weekend, which in my case wasn't exactly magical as the recipe described.

I used Ghiradelli chocolate because it is the best!

The final result which looks pretty enough here to post, wasn't very consistent across the 8 different cakes I made. They were super chocolately and semi-delicious but definitely left room for improvement - first thing I'd change was the containers I cooked them in, to give them more depth for the molten lava part! So who's birthday is next?!
